Baba Sehgal in KFC's Digital Campaign | Chili Chizza

Abhishek PariharPosted 7 years agoFirst Of all It was really nice to see you back after so long BABA SEHGAL( though youtube comment section does not seemed to be impressed) Rapper of 90s kids, first to bring rap at commercial levels in bollywood, baba... you have made significant contribution in entertainment industry. Coming to this rap, this really sounded like a 90s commercial with some bass. This one sounded like Saras milk product ad, TBH. I really didnt found it that interesting as per current trends in rap industry(although they are also pathetic) but we expect a lot more from you baba. KFC targeted dominos and pizza hut in their own way but it was not impressive. Actually throughout the length of this video i was expecting that in a moment Govinda will appear suddenly and start dancing on this song/rap. This could have been much better and indicated Baba's revival in industry that He is back with a bang, but it really lacked that lusture that lyrics which are part on current rappers(so called) in our country. I think Badshah could have done it in a much better way, because currently he is the only poetic person left and his fan following is increasing exponentially. KFC you tried your best to sledge your competitors but i think this rap will not add much to attract customers for your chizza. I have been to kfc but never tried chilli chizza and i cant say that this video helped me to find out about a new product from KFC. If I ever visit KFC then the name KFC and the menu present there is enough for me to opt for this chizza. I dont think this rap generated sudden demand inside my nuro system that i want to have this chizza immediately. Dominos and pizza hut are great in doing their business and the same is for KFC. This rap does not guarantee that one will stop eating pizza for once and for all and go for Chizzas, because that totally depends on their taste. So the moral of the story is KFC and Other brands are equally good and expensive when it comes to their products and such rap, that is toally neglected by youtube community who is a fan of BABA SEHGAL , as much I think, will not help much to go for a single product only. And coming to that challenge part, give them free vouchers of KFC, everybody will start rapping about saying goodbye to pizza. Give them nothing but a single retweet or like, i don't think anybody will show interest in this challenge. Baba tried to show his existence in this video by taking some support of chizza but i think that this time it didnt went well enough to be called as a comeback.

But we are not here to discuss the genre.ðŸ˜‰ Baba Sehgal is an icon from the MTV Video days, were every Indian Pop star started establishing their selves during the VIDEO rage. I personally don't find Baba Sehgal to be funny on Twitter NOR do I like his videos. If KFC is really associating itself with this video then they need to pump in some moolah to step up the production value of the videos. This video is very poorly made, with 'Stock Visuals' beng repeated and even the edits are bad. I personally think Baba just made a song and vid for his YouTube channel and later upsold it to KFC. Maybe...Maybe Not. I have eaten Chizza and it is not that great, KFC is trying what McDonalds tried by introducing the Pizza Burger. Looks like everyone wants a piece of the pizza market (pun intended). KFC should stick to its current menu cause it finger lickin' good.

Deborah dohlingPosted 5 years agoOh no kfc that was a big failure and a downer not a fan at all .Baba sehgal was a sensation in the 90s but now that's old skul ,that rap style and look will only make this generation stare at the brand in all awkwardness .Its as "Cheesy " as it can get .If they do want rap they should take rappers like badshah but my best best would be raaftar with his recent stint in MTV roadies and his weaved hair wow!so appealing to this generations youth .The marketing seemed so poorly done not up to the mark with the brands image and market command ,I have tasted the chizza which was okay I personally would go for their signature fried kitchen though
